Origin and world of the character
The design of this figurine reproduces the appearance of Robin (played by actor Burt Ward) in the Batman TV series broadcast from 1966. In this work, characterised by its colourful, kitschy and parodic tone, Dick Grayson (Robin) assists the Dark Knight in his fight against crime in Gotham City. The line "Holy bat-trap!" refers to a recurring gimmick in the character's writing. In every crisis situation or in the face of imminent danger from antagonists (such as the Joker, the Sphinx or the Penguin), the young hero would invariably utter an exclamation beginning with the adjective "Holy" associated with the problem encountered.
