BITTY ARCADE - Mortal Kombat Klassic

This vinyl action figure from the Bitty POP! range features the spectral fighter Scorpion, based on his original appearance in the Mortal Kombat video game franchise.

This model reproduces the character's visual characteristics, based on the graphic style specific to Funko's Bitty POP! range, characterised by an ultra-reduced scale (micro), an oversized head and a simplified body. The ninja from the Shirai Ryu clan is represented in his classic black and yellow (Klassic) combat outfit, equipped with his protective mask and inserted within a themed plastic mini-display in the shape of a retro arcade machine in the colours of the original game. The marking under the character's name on the packaging reads "Vinyl Figure", which designates a fixed-head figure.

Designed primarily for miniature display and collection, this item comes in its original cardboard packaging with a transparent window so you can view the arcade cabinet and its micro-figure without opening the box.

Created by Ed Boon and John Tobias in 1992 for Midway Games, Scorpion - real name Hanzo Hasashi - is an undead wraith bent on revenge. An elite assassin and fallen leader of the Shirai Ryu ninja clan, he is resurrected by the sorcerer Quan Chi in the kingdom of Netherrealm after being eliminated, along with his entire family, by his rival Sub-Zero of the Lin Kuei clan. Armed with his iconic retractable kunai attached to a chain and a mastery of hellfire, he takes part in the Mortal Kombat tournament to hunt down those responsible for his demise. The Bitty POP! Arcade format combines the historical aesthetic of this 1990s fighting game with the nostalgia of the original arcade terminals, anchoring the object in retro videogame culture.
