Shigekuni Yamamoto-Genryusai is the founder of the Shinigami Academy and Captain of the 1st Division, holding the supreme position of Captain-Commander of the Gotei 13 in the world-famous Shonen manga Bleach, created by Tite Kubo. Despite his appearance as an old man with a long white beard and a body covered in battle scars, he is considered the most powerful Shinigami to have been born in a thousand years. Yamamoto possesses the oldest and most destructive fire-type Zanpakuto in the entire Soul Society, named Ryujin Jakka, whose blazing flames can reduce everything in their path to ashes.
