Created by the late master Akira Toriyama in 1984, Dragon Ball follows the adventures of Son Goku, a young boy with a monkey tail and superhuman strength. Sent to Earth as a baby to destroy humanity, the young Saiyan alien’s fate takes a dramatic turn after an accidental fall into a ravine. This serious head injury completely erases his destructive and aggressive nature, giving way to a pure, cheerful child with a passion for martial arts. Raised by his adoptive grandfather Son Gohan, Goku inherits two precious treasures: the four-star Dragon Ball and the Nyoibou (the magical telescopic staff capable of extending at will). His meeting with Bulma prompts him to leave the mountains to explore the world in search of the seven crystal balls, leading him to face sinister forces and rise as Earth’s greatest protector.
