Origin and character’s universe
Introduced in the hit independent horror video game Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, released in 2014, Withered Chica is the original version of the pizzeria’s chicken animatronic, left abandoned and dismantled in the ‘Parts & Service’ room. Time and a lack of maintenance have severely damaged her structure, making her one of the game’s most terrifying apparitions. Her upper jaw is completely dislocated, revealing a double set of sharp metal teeth from her endoskeleton, whilst her hands have completely disappeared, leaving her arms open and outstretched with exposed electrical wires. This figurine perfectly captures its fixed stare, its worn bib bearing the inscription “Let’s Eat!!!” and its dilapidated appearance, making it a centrepiece for reliving the franchise’s eerie atmosphere.
