Character background and lore

Satoru Gojo is one of the most powerful exorcists in the Jujutsu Kaisen universe and teaches at the Tokyo Exorcism School. In particular, he supervises Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki, guiding them as they learn to fight against the Cursed Ones.

Behind his often laid-back, provocative and eccentric demeanour lies a fighter of exceptional calibre. Gojo has mastered both the hereditary‘Infinity’ technique and the ‘Six Eyes’, an extremely rare combination that allows him to harness occult energy with extraordinary efficiency.

In particular, his technique allows him to manipulate the space around him, giving rise to several abilities that have become iconic in the series. His status and power make him a central figure in maintaining the balance of the world of exorcism.
