Origin and world of the character

The character of Venom comes from the publications of Marvel Comics. He made his first written appearance in May 1984 in the comic book The Amazing Spider-Man #252. Created by writer David Michelinie and artist Todd McFarlane, Venom is structurally defined as an amorphous, liquid alien symbiote. This biological entity requires fusion with a host, mainly human, in order to sustain itself. Eddie Brock is the main anchor host associated with this entity, evolving as one of its major opponents and then as an anti-hero linked to Spider-Man stories.
