Discover Yggdrasis Skoll Sharpshooter Tempest, a new addition to Kotobukiya’s Megami Device range. This articulated model kit, measuring approximately 15.8 cm, reimagines the Skoll Sharpshooter concept in a version featuring desert camouflage-inspired colours, with a new facial design by Nidy-2D-.

Designed as a specialist in long-range combat, Skoll Sharpshooter Tempest is equipped with an imposing sniper rifle that can be reconfigured into several modes. Notably, the weapon can be folded away or carried on her back, whilst the articulated shoulder armour and deployable blades reinforce her military identity.

The kit is based on the Machineca Block2-M body, designed by Masaki Apsy, and uses multi-coloured moulded parts as well as faces pre-printed using pad printing. The Megami Device range is designed around 3 mm joints, allowing this model to be combined with a wide range of compatible equipment and accessories from Kotobukiya.

Origin and background of the collection (Lore)

Megami Device is a range of model kits developed by Kotobukiya based on a concept combining bishōjo-style characters, mechanical armour and interchangeable weaponry. Each model combines a Machineca articulated body with a visual identity created in collaboration with various illustrators.

The Yggdrasis sub-series draws its inspiration from Norse mythology whilst incorporating a strong military aesthetic. Skoll refers to the mythological wolf associated with chasing the Sun in Scandinavian tales, whilst the Sharpshooter variant translates this inspiration into the role of a combatant specialising in precision shooting.

The Tempest version retains this identity whilst introducing a new colour palette and new designs, thus offering an alternative interpretation of Skoll without altering her role as a long-range combat specialist.
