The Muppets’ Treasure Island – Pop! & Buddy No. 1805 – Kermit and Polly – Vinyl figures – 12.2 and 6.1 cm
Set sail aboard the Hispaniola with this Pop! & Buddy No. 1805 set featuring Kermit and Polly, designed by Funko to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the film The Muppets’ Treasure Island. This edition pairs the captain, played by Kermit, with one of the crew’s most mischievous pirates in a compact set dedicated to the 1996 maritime adventure.
Kermit is depicted in the role of Captain Abraham Smollett. He wears a black tricorn hat and a long double-breasted naval coat, mirroring the appearance of the Hispaniola’s captain in the film. His nautical outfit and upright posture convey the character’s seriousness, whilst retaining the stylised proportions characteristic of the Pop! collection.
The main figure is accompanied by Polly Lobster, presented in a smaller ‘Buddy’ format. The pirate lobster wears an ascot-style cravat and puffed trousers, in line with Funko’s official description. His red colour and scowling expression contrast with Kermit’s green appearance and more composed demeanour.
Kermit stands approximately 12.2 cm tall, whilst Polly measures approximately 6.1 cm. Both characters are made of vinyl and come together in an illustrated window box bearing the number 1805. This packaging allows them to be displayed together without removing them from their packaging.
This set is part of the Pop! & Buddy range, in which a main figure is accompanied by a smaller secondary character. It completes a collection dedicated to the Muppets, adaptations of classic stories or Disney productions from the 1990s.

Origin and character lore
Kermit the Frog is one of the central figures of the Muppets. Generally calm, level-headed and responsible for maintaining group cohesion, he often takes on the role of leader amongst characters whose behaviour is far more unpredictable.
In *The Muppets’ Treasure Island*, Kermit plays Captain Abraham Smollett, commander of the Hispaniola. The ship is chartered to take young Jim Hawkins and his companions to an island where Pirate Flint’s treasure is said to be hidden. Disney portrays Smollett as the virtuous captain of the voyage, in contrast to the plot hatched by Long John Silver.
Smollett quickly becomes suspicious of some of the crew, whose behaviour strikes him as dubious. His concerns prove well-founded when several sailors reveal themselves to be former pirates in Flint’s service, determined to get their hands on the map and the treasure.
Polly Lobster, sometimes called Bad Polly, is Long John Silver’s crustacean companion. Unlike the parrot traditionally associated with pirates in many adaptations, this humorous version takes the form of a particularly aggressive and talkative red lobster.
Polly works alongside Clueless Morgan and Mad Monty. The three pirates take part in the theft of the treasure map and support the planned mutiny against Captain Smollett and the loyal crew members.
The film is a loose adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s novel *Treasure Island*, blending adventure, comedy and musical numbers. Human characters such as Jim Hawkins and Long John Silver appear alongside the Muppets, each playing a role inspired by the original story.
This Pop! & Buddy set deliberately brings together two opposing sides: Kermit plays the loyal captain tasked with protecting the ship, whilst Polly represents the pirates who are plotting to take control of the Hispaniola and recover the treasure.
