Origin and character background
Directly inspired by the cultmockumentary TV comedy series Parks and Recreation, this figurine celebrates the fifteenth anniversary of the NBC show. It features the brilliant yet apathetic April Ludgate, memorably portrayed by actress Aubrey Plaza. Originally a disinterested intern who became Ron Swanson’s indispensable assistant in the Parks and Recreation department of the fictional town of Pawnee, she is characterised by her dark humour, her open contempt for the human race and her jaded attitude.This Funko Pop! version captures with meticulous graphic detail her neutral, impassive expression, her casual outfit and the quirky accessory of the pair of scissors she holds in a threatening manner.
