Assemble the imposing Evangelion Unit-13 with this articulated model from the MODEROID range, produced by Good Smile Company and inspired by the Rebuild of Evangelion film series.

The model captures the slender, menacing silhouette of Unit-13, with its predominantly purple armour, black elements and touches of red and green. The various joints allow you to adjust the position of the legs, arms and torso to recreate several poses inspired by its on-screen appearances.

The kit includes the Spear of Longinus, as well as several interchangeable hands suited to different display set-ups. An alternative torso part also allows the Evangelion’s two secondary arms to be deployed, recreating its distinctive four-armed configuration.

The parts are arranged on sprues of different colours. Pre-painted parts and decals are also included to achieve a look close to that of the anime without requiring a full paint job. Once assembled, the model measures approximately 17.5 cm.

Origin and setting of the model

Evangelion Unit-13 appears in Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo, the third film in the Rebuild of Evangelion tetralogy. Its appearance is reminiscent of Unit-01, but it is distinguished by its unique structure, considerable power and the ability to deploy four arms.

This Evangelion also utilises a two-pilot system. It is piloted by Shinji Ikari and Kaworu Nagisa during a mission involving the Spears stored in Terminal Dogma. Its activation plays a major role in the events leading up to the Fourth Impact.

The ‘Rebuild’ film series draws on the core concepts of Evangelion whilst offering a new narrative structure, redesigned units and events that differ from those of the original television series.

This MODEROID model particularly highlights the four-armed configuration and the Spear of Longinus, two elements closely associated with the appearance of Unit-13 in the films.
