SONIC - POP N° 283 - Sonic with Ring

This vinyl figure features the main character from SEGA's video game franchise, Sonic the Hedgehog, holding an iconic golden ring.

This model reproduces the visual characteristics of the blue hedgehog using the graphic style typical of the Funko POP! range, with an oversized head and simplified body. The figure features the character in a dynamic running or waiting stance, sporting his characteristic spikes on the back of his head, white gloves and red running shoes with white buckles. His right hand holds a large gold ring.

Designed primarily for display on a shelf, on a desk or in a window, this collector's item comes in its original cardboard packaging with a transparent window so you can see the figurine without opening the box.

Created in 1991 by Naoto Ohshima, Yuji Naka and Hirokazu Yasuhara for SEGA's Megadrive console, Sonic the Hedgehog is an anthropomorphic blue hedgehog with the ability to run at supersonic speed. His universe centres on protecting nature and his friends from the evil plans of mad scientist Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik, who captures innocent animals and turns them into robots. The golden ring (Ring) held by the figure is the most famous gameplay element in the saga: scattered throughout the levels, these rings protect Sonic from damage and allow him to access special stages when they are accumulated in sufficient quantity.
