Origin and world of the character
Originally created in 1962 by writer Stan Lee and illustrator Steve Ditko for Marvel Comics, Peter Parker is a New York student who gains superhuman spider-like abilities after being bitten by a radioactive specimen. Under the identity of Spider-Man, he uses his abilities to protect the people of New York. This figurine is specifically inspired by the artistic direction of the Marvel's Spider-Man 2 video game developed by Insomniac Games. The "Advanced Suit 2.0" costume depicted on the figure is a technical evolution of his original outfit, featuring an enlarged white spider emblem on his torso and the integration of technologies designed to optimise his aerial movement and combat capabilities against new antagonists.
