Origin and backstory of the character
Skeleton Man is one of the nightmarish incarnations from the horror television series *It: Welcome to Derry*, conceived as an official prequel to Andy Muschietti’s blockbuster *It* films. Set in the cursed small town of Derry, Maine, the plot explores the origins of psychological terror and the cycles of awakening of the shape-shifting cosmic entity, known primarily as Pennywise the Clown. Feeding on the visceral fear and traumas of its victims, the creature takes on the form of the townspeople’s deepest phobias. This Skeleton Man figurine brings to life one of these macabre, emaciated visions, embodying all the psychological anguish, suspense and pure horror that characterise Stephen King’s seminal literary work.
