FRAME ARMS GIRL - Durga II - Model Kit 17cm

Discover Durga II, the enhanced version of Durga I, with this articulated Frame Arms Girl model kit from Kotobukiya. Standing approximately 16.5 cm tall, this creation takes the Frame Arms mecha designed by ToMo and reimagines it as a bishōjo character based on an illustration by E-ji Komatsu. 

Durga II adopts a knight-in-armour theme and boasts an enhanced arsenal. She is equipped with the large Berngurst sword, the Hel-Rine shield, the head-mounted Aiming Jammer and the Hailrang spear. Several weapons can be reconfigured: Berngurst can, for example, be split into two long swords, whilst Hailrang splits into a short spear and a mace.

The kit also includes 4 pre-printed faces, several hairstyle options featuring a ponytail, short or long hair, 5 pairs of PVC hands, decals and a simple round base. The numerous 3 mm connection points allow for the use of equipment from the M.S.G. and Frame Arms ranges, whilst certain armour parts can also be combined with Magatsuki.

Origin and background of the collection (Lore)

Frame Arms Girl is an original range from Kotobukiya that reimagines the mechas from the Frame Arms series as articulated female characters in the bishōjo style. Each model retains some of the mechanical identity, weapons and armour of the robot from which it is derived, whilst adopting an entirely new humanoid silhouette.

Durga II is based on the Frame Arms Durga II (Zwei) designed by ToMo. She represents a heavily armed evolution of Durga I, with an angular silhouette inspired by a knight in armour and additional equipment designed to emphasise her combat-oriented nature.

Modularity is a central feature of the range: weapons, armour and various connection points allow you to modify the model’s appearance or combine it with equipment from other compatible models. In particular, Durga II can swap some of her armour parts with Magatsuki, further enhancing the possibilities for customisation.

This Frame Arms Girl Durga II thus combines the aesthetic of a mechanised knight, a transformable arsenal and advanced modularity in a model kit designed as much for assembly as for display and customisation.
