Origin and character’s universe

Sesshomaru is a powerful dog-like yōkai and Inuyasha’s elder half-brother. As the son of a great demon, he places great importance on his lineage and initially regards humans and his half-human brother with contempt.

He travels through feudal Japan in search of power and covets, in particular, Tessaiga, the sword inherited by Inuyasha. Sesshomaru, however, possesses his own blade, Tenseiga, a weapon incapable of harming the living, but which can save a person from death.

His encounter with the young human Rin gradually transforms his behaviour. Although he retains a cold and impassive demeanour, he becomes more protective and develops a form of compassion that he previously refused to acknowledge.

This Mochipico soft toy captures his noble and imposing appearance in a softer form, whilst retaining his key visual features and impassive expression.
