This model reproduces the visual characteristics of the soldier, using the graphic style typical of the Funko POP! range, with an oversized head and simplified body. The character is shown in an upright posture, sporting his tousled medium-length brown hair held in place by an olive-green makeshift headband, dressed in his khaki tank top, military fatigues and combat boots. He is holding his serrated survival knife firmly in his right hand. The markings below the figure's name on the packaging read "Vinyl Figure", designating a figure with a fixed head.

Introduced to cinema in 1982 in the feature film First Blood, based on the work by David Morrell, John Rambo is an elite former US Army soldier, veteran of the Vietnam War and sole survivor of a Green Beret unit. Traumatised by his past and rejected by civil society, he is abusively arrested and mistreated by the police in a small town in Washington State. His survival instincts and military training were then reactivated, prompting him to flee into the surrounding woods. Hunted by local forces and the National Guard, he wages guerrilla warfare, using the forest environment and his edged weapons to defend himself. This figurine captures the character's original, raw aesthetic during this first confrontation.
