STAR WARS - X Wing Fighter - Model Kit

This plastic model kit allows you to faithfully recreate the legendary T-65 X-Wing, the Rebel Alliance’s main assault starfighter, from the original trilogy of the globally successful Star Wars film saga.

The model incorporates the stylistic and technical features of the Revell Model Set range. It combines great ease of assembly with excellent attention to detail at a 1/112 scale. The mechanical model accurately captures the streamlined silhouette of the famous combat craft, highlighting its finely textured surfaces and distinctive wing panels. It meticulously reproduces the model’s architectural features, notably its four ion thrusters, the laser cannons mounted at the wing tips, and its central single-seater cockpit. Designed to offer a seamless assembly experience, this model features sturdy parts moulded from light grey injection-moulded plastic to ensure a superb finish once assembled.

Intended primarily as an introduction to model-making, for display on a desk or shelf, this collector’s item is supplied as a complete, all-in-one ‘Model Set’ box. Its original cardboard packaging protects all the parts sprue and contains the essential accessories needed to complete the model straight away without any additional purchases, including special glue, a paintbrush and the necessary basic acrylic paint pots.

In the Star Wars universe, the T-65 X-Wing fighter is the undisputed symbol of the rebellion against the tyranny of the Galactic Empire. Originally designed by the Incom Corporation before its engineers defected to the Alliance, this versatile fighter is distinguished by its movable wing surfaces known as ‘S-foils’. When deployed in combat configuration, they form a distinctive “X” shape designed to distribute the firepower of its four laser cannons and stabilise its defensive shields. Capable of autonomous hyperspace jumps and equipped with a bay for an R2-type astromech droid, it was aboard this fighter that the young Luke Skywalker achieved the historic feat of destroying the first Death Star during the Battle of Yavin. Its exceptional manoeuvrability and military record make it one of the most iconic and respected combat craft in the galaxy.
