Character background and lore

Chun-Li is one of Street Fighter’s iconic characters and one of the first major female playable characters in modern fighting games. An expert in Chinese martial arts, she is best known for her lightning-fast movements and powerful leg techniques.

Her most famous attack is the Hyakuretsukyaku, an extremely rapid succession of kicks that has become one of the franchise’s visual hallmarks. Chun-Li is also known for her sense of justice and her numerous battles against the criminal organisations that threaten the world.
