Guile is one of the long-standing characters in Street Fighter. A US Air Force officer in the franchise, he is distinguished by his methodical approach to combat, his sense of duty and his instantly recognisable military appearance.

His fighting style is based on two techniques that have become iconic in the series: the Sonic Boom, a horizontal energy projectile, and the Flash Kick, an upward attack executed with a powerful leg spin.
