Origin and world of the character

Created by writer Stan Lee and artist Bill Everett for Marvel Comics in 1964, Daredevil is Matt Murdock's alter ego. Having lost his sight as a child following exposure to radioactive waste, he developed superhuman tactile, auditory and olfactory senses, compensating for his blindness with a three-dimensional radar "sense". A lawyer by day in New York's Hell's Kitchen, he fights organised crime by night as the Blind Vigilante. This specific version is directly inspired by his design and his appearances in the television production Daredevil: Born Again.
