Origin and world of the characters
The Disney Princess franchise brings together the main female characters from the various Disney Studios animated films, characterised by their royal status by birth or marriage, or by their acts of bravery. The pack brings together several generations of stories: Ariel (from The Little Mermaid, 1989), King Triton's daughter confronted with the human world; Mulan (1998), a young woman enlisting clandestinely in the Chinese Imperial Army in her father's place; and Tiana(The Princess and the Frog, 2009), a young New Orleans cook accidentally transformed into an amphibian. The Bitty Pop! graphic concept reinterprets these traditional visuals as compact miniatures for the overall thematic exhibition.
