Discover the EMP-02 Hao Ling White Emperor, an imposing mecha model kit developed as part of a collaboration between GS-TOYS and Yu Yi Tang. Once assembled, the main robot stands approximately 25 cm tall and features predominantly white armour combined with gold and dark blue elements, in a design that blends futuristic technology with visual references to Chinese tradition. The model is part of the original Xuanji Zhuxinglu – Five Directions, Five Emperors series.

The set is not limited to the White Emperor: it also includes the MC-02F Feng and MC-02H Huang units, which form the Phoenix Divine Armour. These two phoenix-inspired modules can be displayed separately or attached to the back of the mecha to form large wings. In this configuration, the assembly has a wingspan of approximately 52 cm and a length of approximately 42 cm. The internal structure utilises alloy components to ensure rigidity and articulation, whilst the armour parts are primarily made from ABS and POM.

The set comes with a particularly comprehensive range of accessories, including several weapons that allow for varied configurations: the Guanri long sword (Sun-Piercer), the Lingxiao short blade (Sky-Soarer), the option to combine them into a spear measuring approximately 38 cm, the divine Changgeng bow and a whip-blade system utilising the phoenix’s tail feathers. Five pairs of interchangeable hands, a rucksack, gold water-slide decals and a stand with supports complete the set, allowing for various poses and display options.

Character background and universe (Lore)

Unlike many model kits based on existing manga or anime, the Hao Ling White Emperor is an original mecha design. It belongs to the Xuanji Zhuxinglu – Five Directions, Five Emperors series, which centres on machines inspired by symbols and figures from traditional Chinese mythology.

The EMP-02 Hao Ling White Emperor is presented as a machine combining high mobility in close combat with long-range attack capabilities. In its standard configuration, its slender silhouette and highly articulated frame are designed to facilitate dynamic movements and the use of its various bladed weapons.

The Feng and Huang units, whose names refer to the two components traditionally associated with the Chinese phoenix, provide the White Emperor with its Phoenix Divine Armour. Once attached to the mecha, they form an imposing winged structure and allow for various configurations geared towards attack, defence or the full deployment of its armament. This combination of imperial imagery, the phoenix and futuristic mechanics constitutes the main visual identity of this original model.
