MEGAMI DEVICE - Desire Maiden Medic Night Shift - Model Kit 17cm

Discover Desire Maiden Medic Night Shift, a new variation on Kotobukiya’s Megami Device model kit. Standing approximately 17 cm tall when assembled, this version reimagines Desire Maiden Medic with a dark colour scheme specially designed to evoke night-time combat. The light, medical-style tones of the original model have given way here to a more tactical aesthetic, combining dark armour, mechanical elements and contrasting details.

The kit retains Desire Maiden Medic’s intricately detailed silhouette, with her long pigtails and imposing mechanical gear. It includes three pre-painted and pre-printed faces, large wings, various firearms and several clothing items compatible with the Block2 body. The long pigtails can also be replaced with looped braided hair pieces to facilitate dynamic poses. Bonus parts from Desire Maiden Raider, including a chest piece and mechanical ears, further expand the customisation options.

The machineca articulated body, designed to offer a wide range of movement, allows the figure to be displayed in both Unarmed Mode and fully equipped Armed Mode. The standardised 3 mm connection points also ensure broad compatibility with numerous Kotobukiya accessories, particularly from the M.S.G, Frame Arms, Frame Arms Girl, Hexa Gear, Sousai Shojo Teien, Arcanadea and Megalomaria ranges. A dedicated display stand is included.

Origin and universe of Megami Device (Lore)

Megami Device is an original range of model kits developed by Kotobukiya, based on the concept of combining bishōjo-style characters, articulated bodies and imposing mechanical equipment. The models are based on the ‘Machineca’ body designed by Masaki Apsy and are intended to be assembled, articulated and extensively customised before being used in displays inspired by robot battles.

Unlike a figurine based on a specific manga or anime, Desire Maiden Medic is a creation unique to this model kit universe. The range’s design allows users to transition from a relatively minimalist look to a heavily armed configuration thanks to the numerous interchangeable parts, whilst freely combining equipment, weapons and accessories from other compatible models.

Night Shift is a variation of Desire Maiden Medic whose visual concept has been reimagined by Amaai and Task around a night-time combat theme. Whilst the original model favours a predominantly white colour scheme evoking the medical world, this edition adopts a much darker and more tactical palette. However, it is not limited to a simple colour change: the new faces, the bonus Raider parts and the various customisation options make it a fully-fledged variation of Desire Maiden Medic.
