Released in 1975, *The Rocky Horror Picture Show* is a satanic-pop musical and science-fiction parody that has become the greatest ‘cult film’ in the history of world cinema. The story follows a young, puritanical couple whose car breaks down near a strange castle inhabited by Dr Frank-N-Furter, a cross-dressing scientist and alien from the planet Transsexual. Riff Raff is the hunchbacked, sinister and macabre butler of the mansion. Easily recognisable by his long, stringy blond hair, his dark circles under his eyes and his shuffling gait, he spends his time maintaining the castle alongside his sister Magenta. Masterfully portrayed by Richard O’Brien (who is also the creator of the original musical), Riff Raff leads the famous ‘Time Warp’ dance before revealing his true intergalactic nature.
