Bring together Kíli and Fíli, the two dwarf brothers who are members of Thorin Oakenshield’s company, with this Funko POP! Movies 2-Pack inspired by The Hobbit. The two warriors are brought together in a single box set, each in the distinctive stylised form characteristic of the POP! range. Funko states that each figure is approximately 10.2 cm tall.

The set allows you to immediately distinguish between the two brothers thanks to their respective appearances from the film trilogy. Kíli is depicted with his long dark hair and a sword held out in front of him, whilst Fíli is recognisable by his lighter hair and his warrior’s gear, which includes two weapons. The brown and grey-toned costumes are reminiscent of the outfits they wore during the expedition to Erebor.

Made from PVC/vinyl, the two POP! figures are packaged together in a shared display box, designed to showcase Kíli and Fíli side by side.

Origin and character lore

Fíli and Kíli are two dwarf brothers belonging to the House of Durin. They are the sons of Dís, sister of Thorin Oakenshield, making them the nephews of the leader of the company setting out to reclaim Erebor, the Lonely Mountain, which is occupied by the dragon Smaug. Fíli is the elder of the two, whilst Kíli is his younger brother.

They are among the youngest members of the thirteen Dwarves in Thorin’s company and take part in the entire journey undertaken with Bilbo Baggins and Gandalf. Their youth and agility mean they are regularly called upon to act as scouts during the expedition, particularly as they approach the Lonely Mountain.

In Peter Jackson’s films, the two brothers are portrayed more as distinct individuals. Fíli, played by Dean O’Gorman, is portrayed as being particularly protective of his brother. Kíli, played by Aidan Turner, is developed as a warrior and archer and has an additional subplot involving the Elf Tauriel, a character created specifically for the film adaptations.

The fate of the two brothers remains tragic, however. During the Battle of the Five Armies, Fíli and Kíli both meet their deaths whilst fighting alongside their uncle. In Tolkien’s story, they die defending the mortally wounded Thorin; the film trilogy depicts their final battles separately during the clash at Ravenhill.

This 2-Pack thus brings together two characters who are closely linked in the story of *The Hobbit*, whose brotherly bond and loyalty to Thorin Oakenshield are key elements of the expedition to restore Erebor to the people of Durin.
