Arcanadea model kit — Gii — 13 cm

Discover Gii, the young dragon-type Dears from the Arcanadea range, with this articulated model kit designed by Kotobukiya.

Based on a design by illustrator necömi, this model combines a small, expressive silhouette with imposing dragon-like features. Her black, white and purple outfit is complemented by long sleeves, an articulated tail, transformable wings and various translucent effects evoking her powers. Despite her compact size, the figure has a particularly dynamic visual presence.

Thanks to interchangeable parts, Gii can be displayed in two distinct forms: Normal Mode, corresponding to her non-combat state, and Wilize Mode, which features her wings, claws and energy effects. The main wings are articulated and can also transform into large talons, whilst the tail, strands of hair, sleeves and various parts of the dress feature multiple points of articulation.

Once assembled, the model measures approximately 13.3 cm. It includes five pre-printed faces, several interchangeable strands of hair, PVC hands, blast and flame effects, and a dedicated display stand. The 3 mm connection points also allow Gii to be combined with various accessories from other original Kotobukiya ranges.

Origin and character’s universe

Gii is a dragon-type Dears associated with the element of darkness. Having recently awakened after a long period of being sealed away, she explores the world with curiosity and is often guided by her emotions and intuition. She adores things she finds cute and readily seeks to make them her own servants.

Behind her childlike appearance, however, lies considerable power. Gii is one of the most formidable Dears in battle and can unleash a powerful beam of energy from her mouth. This model kit captures this duality through an endearing silhouette in normal mode and a much more impressive dragon-like appearance in Wilize mode.
