Origin and universe of the mecha (Lore)

Dancouga is the central super robot from *Dancouga: Super Beast Machine God*, a Japanese animated series launched in the 1980s.

The robot is formed by combining several machines known as Beast Machines, each piloted by a member of the team tasked with fighting enemy forces. This fusion gives rise to Dancouga, a far more powerful combat unit capable of taking on large opponents.

The series’ concept is based on a blend of military mecha, transformations and animal power, with pilots whose emotions and instincts play a significant role in the operation of their machines.
