Megalomaria Unlimited Universe model kit — Eis Eizen — 16 cm

Assemble Eis Eizen, a mechanical warrior inspired by Japanese traditions, with this articulated model kit from the Megalomaria Unlimited Universe range, manufactured by Kotobukiya.

The character combines the appearance of a shrine maiden with that of a futuristic warrior. Her white, red and light grey outfit echoes the silhouette of a traditional hakama, complemented by wide sleeves, mechanical armour and a large geometric halo positioned behind her head. Her long pale blue hair is crafted from translucent parts reminiscent of ice, the appearance of which varies depending on the lighting and viewing angle.

The kit offers a choice between two configurations. The Naked Form features skin-coloured elements and an uncovered face, whilst the Masquerade Form has a more armour-protected appearance and a mask with yellow eyes. The uncovered face is pre-painted and features movable eyes that can be adjusted using the tool provided.

Eis Eizen has 77 points of articulation. The articulated hakama can be folded to replicate a traditional seiza sitting position, whilst the joints at the sleeves, elbows, knees, ankles and toes make it easy to create natural poses. The legs can also be spread up to 180 degrees.

The figure comes with a ritual purification wand, paper talismans, a pouch worn at the waist and seven pairs of interchangeable hands. Once assembled, it measures approximately 14 cm to the top of the head and 16 cm to the tip of the halo.

Origin and character’s universe

Megalomaria Unlimited Universe is an original range of model kits developed by Kotobukiya. It is not a direct adaptation of any pre-existing manga or anime, but offers its own universe of highly articulated and customisable mechanical combatants.

Eis Eizen is the first small-statured character introduced in the series. His design combines several Japanese references: the ceremonial robes of miko, the esoteric practices associated with onmyōji, paper talismans and the purification wand used in certain Shinto rites. These traditional elements are combined with mechanical armour and translucent parts, giving her an appearance that is both mystical and futuristic.

Thanks to its two assembly options, ritual accessories and advanced articulation system, this model kit allows Eis Eizen to be displayed either as a supernatural priestess or as a masked warrior from the technological world of Megalomaria.
