Claire Elizabeth Beauchamp Randall Fraser is the main heroine of *Outlander*, a literary series created by Diana Gabaldon and later adapted into a television series.

A 20th-century British nurse, Claire finds herself mysteriously transported back to 1743 after passing through an ancient stone circle in Scotland. She then discovers a world radically different from her own, marked by clans, political tensions and the conflicts leading up to the Jacobite rebellions.
