Chairoikoguma (known as Kogumachan) is a Japanese fictional character from the Rilakkuma universe, created in 2016 by designer Aki Kondo for the Sanrio / San-X company. Unlike the other teddy bears in the franchise, such as Rilakkuma and Korilakkuma, who are plush costumes, Chairoikoguma is described as a real wild bear living in the Honey Forest. He is characterised by his dark brown fur, a tuft of white hair on his chest, honey-shaped bear markings on his hind legs, and a natural sweet honey smell. Very friendly with Korilakkuma, who discovered him in the woods, he communicates mainly through miniature bear roars ("Gao") and loves royal jelly. His presence adds a pastoral and forestry dimension to the adventures of the licence.
