Origin and world of the character (Lore)In the universe created by Robert Kirkman, Mark Grayson is an ordinary high school student until he develops superpowers inherited from his father, Omni-Man, Earth's most powerful alien protector. Under the identity of Invincible, Mark begins his apprenticeship as a superhero and comes face to face with the harsh reality of combat, where physical determination and moral resilience are constantly tested. This "Battle Damage" variation is a direct illustration of the series' raw aesthetic, in which the character suffers heavy physical damage during major confrontations to defend the planet, notably against the warriors of the Viltrumite Empire.
