Naito Mudano is a major character from the dark fantasy action manga Tougen Anki (also spelt Tougan Anki), created by Yura Urushibara. In this universe, where a secret war pits the descendants of the Oni (demons) against those of the Momotaro (demon hunters), he is a teacher and mentor at the Luo Academy. This confidential structure trains young Oni to master their cursed blood and transform it into combat weapons. Naito Mudano is characterised by his phlegmatic temperament, apparent nonchalance and penchant for smoking, concealing a formidable martial power and advanced tactical mastery. He takes the protagonist Mikado Momodera under his protection, guiding him through the rigorous confrontations that punctuate the series.
