Character background and lore

Keigo Magami is one of the recurring characters in *Witch Watch*, a manga created by Kenta Shinohara. A pupil at the same secondary school as Nico Wakatsuki and Morihito Otogi, he gradually joins the circle of supernatural characters surrounding the heroine.

Keigo possesses a supernatural ability that allows him to transform into a werewolf. This other side to his personality, known as ‘Wolf’, is markedly different from his usual behaviour and plays an important role in several events in the series.

In his everyday life, Keigo has a rather laid-back personality and a keen interest in culture, music and trends. His transformation, however, reveals a much more aggressive and combative temperament, creating a contrast that fuels both action scenes and comic situations.

Thanks to this duality and his interactions with Nico, Morihito and Kanshi, Keigo Magami brings a new supernatural dimension to the main cast of *Witch Watch* and perfectly complements the cast of witches, ogres, tengu and other fantastical beings that make up the series’ universe.
